To better your view - let's take a walk to see the hospital....

Our reception area is bright and warm. Perhaps the first thing you might notice when you arrive is an immaculate and odor free environment.
Our staff works hard to maintain a perfectly clean hospital.
With full computer capacity we are able to keep track of your pet's medical history, send you notifications by mail regarding vaccinations due and furnish you with printouts from our computer library concerning various medical and behavorial topics.
We also carry a wide variety of pet care products including snazzy leashes, collars & harnesses, healthy toys, grooming aids, yummy pet treats and specially formulated diets, all available in our waiting room. Upon arrival, dogs will be weighed in on our digital scale.
As you proceed to one of three examination rooms, you will find comfortable benches and spacious exam tables to better accommodate you and your pet. Each room is equipped with accurate scales to weigh the cats and smaller pets. |
Located behind our exam rooms, is a fully stocked pharmacy. Here we can supply you with your pets full prescription needs, so you won't have to make another stop at your local pharmacy. |
Adjacent to the pharmacy is our laboratory where we have the ability to perform comprehensive blood workups that include presurgical blood screens, heartworm and lyme disease tests, leukemia and feline aids tests, CBC's, fecal & urine analysis and most diagnostic tests that may be needed to evaluate your pets medical condition,
The back half of the hospital houses the treatment section, intensive care unit, surgical and radiology suites, grooming area, and several lodging wards with a separate ward for isolation. |
Our treatment section and intensive care unit allows us to tend to our patients using up to date equipment while maintaining a close watch. This room is complete with incubator and infusion pump for fluid therapy, vitamin therapy, and antibiotic administration. |
If your pet arrives for surgery, he will be prepped in the spacious treatment area, and then transported to the surgical suite. Supplied with pulse oxymeter, a respiration monitor, cardiac monitor, and sophisticated anesthetic equipment, this surgery room places your pet in good hands. |
Having a radiology suite in hospital, eliminates the need to bring your pet to a separate facility for further diagnostic work. Our automatic film processor allows us to view results in just a few minutes.
Our beautiful new, spacious and fully equipped grooming areaallows our professional groomer to comfortably provide your pet with an unbeatable "spa" experience.
Medicated and scented shampoos, a full size tub and shower station, professional warm air dryers, and stand up styling station all assist our two professional groomers, Judy Virchow & Debbie Arbucci, in performing their grooming magic in style! |
The canine and feline lodging areas are separated to provide peace and quiet in a comfortable environment, for our boarders, as well as our hospitalized patients.
An outside penned area provides exercise for our canine guests. Here you will see that we also have a specialized isolation ward. Perched on the table nearby is "Goldie", a hospital resident.
We hope you enjoyed the tour! If you would like to visit us in person, please call us at 860-282-8989, to see our entire facilty. In-hospital tours of our entire facility are welcome! |
